Youngsters Can Learn to Skate in New Program in Canandaigua – MPNnow

There’s no secret to the fact that most successful high school varsity teams get major contributions from equally successful youth programs.

Canandaigua varsity hockey coach Jim Armstrong recently got together with Mike Cronin, executive director of the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center, and Kyle Johnson, president of the Canandaigua Knights youth hockey program, in an effort to come up with ways to increase numbers at CA’s varsity level. One of the ideas that came out of the brainstorming session was a new beginner program for very young children.
