World Kids’ Sports Summit Declaration Presented to IOC

Representatives of the World Kids’ Sports Summit in Yokohama, including two Japanese elementary school students, presented the World Kids’ Sports Summit Declaration to Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), at the IOC’s headquarters in Lausanne on 22 September. Mr. Rogge mentioned that he’d add the declaration to Olympic Museum collections.

Declaration, a call by the world’s new sporting generation to spread the spirit of fair play across the world, was issued by the Summit in Yokohama, Japan on 21 August.
