Brr…it’s cold in here! There must be some TeamSnap in the atmosphere! I said BRR!
Our obsession with Bring it On only grows deeper with the rising number of amazing cheer squads who use TeamSnap.
Take Coral Springs Charter School Cheerleading. Winning is something the team is very familiar with. 2016, 2017, 2018 FHSAA Regional Champions. 2017, 2018 FHSAA State Champions. Top 10 in Nationals in 2016, 2017, 2018. With core values like leadership, school spirit and sisterhood, the squad is a tight group of dedicated, talented young women.
The squad consists of middle and high school teams as well as a competition team. From the dozens of athletes and their involved parents, to practices, training and events, a coach could easily get overwhelmed. That’s why when looking for a solution to get organized and streamline communication, head coach and program director Rachal Garris chose TeamSnap. Rachal says TeamSnap saves her an average of five hours a week!
“TeamSnap allows me to house everything in one central location. We have middle school, JV, varsity, and competition teams. Being able to keep these all separated in one location makes life much easier. Instead of having multiple spreadsheets, I am able to keep track of everything in one central location. Also, being able to access everything on my phone is great,” Rachal says.
Coral Springs Charter School’s soccer coach recommended TeamSnap to Rachal, and she hasn’t looked back since downloading the app. With our suite of features designed for busy coaches, Rachal has everything she needs to lead her squad.
“I use TeamSnap to keep everyone informed with the schedules feature. The tracking feature is great for tracking forms that need to be turned in, and the payments feature makes money collections so much easier,” says Rachal. “I use custom fields for cheerleaders to enter their sizes for ordering apparel, which allows me to quickly generate a list of sizes to make ordering easier. Being able to send out text alerts has made instant communication so much easier. The best use for it has been to communicate last minute game changes such as lightning delays or cancellations.”
